Simple And Healthy Vegetable Sandwich



Sandwich is very much popular breakfast food. It is quick and simple to make. It is super delicious and healthy breakfast as it gives you nutrition of vegetables that sometimes you may not like. So go through the simple recipe given below and have a good health with vegetable sandwiches.

Ingredients required to make vegetable sandwich:

For 2 servings,

  • 4 bread slices
  • Slices of boiled potato
  • Slices of tomato
  • Slices of onion or cucumber ( any one or both you can use)
  • Tomato ketchup
  • Mint sauce
  • Butter
  • Cheese (optional)

How to make vegetable sandwich :

Step 1
Take four breads and apply tomato ketchup on two of them.

Step 2
Now apply mint sauce on remaining two breads, so each sandwich contains both tomato ketchup and mint sauce flavours. It depends on you whether you want to use it or not. It will make sandwich more delicious.

Step 3
Mint sauce can be prepared by adding garlic petals and salt in mint leaves and then mix it in mixer making it's soft paste.

Step 4
Place layer of slices of tomato, onion or cucumber and boiled potatoes on the bread.

Step 5
Spread grated cheese on layers of these vegetables slices in a amount as per your requirement.

Step 6
Put another bread on it, on which you have applied mint sauce.

Step 7
Pour some butter on frying pan and on sandwiches. Grill these sandwiches on frying pan and let the cheese within it melt. You can also grill it in a toaster.

Step 8
After you have grilled it so that bread look slightly brownish in colour, cut the sandwich diagonally or as you want to cut it.

Step 9
Serve it hot along with ketchup or sauce.
